Only parents will love us unconditionally

Today is the start of MCO for Penang and a few other states. Yesterday I made a trip to Shinc's to get my annual hair color and rebounding done in one shot.

My dad bought me Ang pow packets from the usual stall at Pulau Tikus Market when my parents were doing marketing and runnjng errands yesterday morning before the commencement of MCO for 2 weeks. (13 Jan to 26 Jan).

When we were having dinner, my dad will tell me that there are mangoes in the fridge and ask me to eat them later. He told me the Kuih Talam also ran out this morning at the market as the outstation folks sapu-ed everything before heading back to their freaking hometown. In other words he wanted to buy the Kuih Talam and share it with me as he always does. Then he asked me, so can you drink coconut water? As I was in Chinese medication for my tennis elbow issue, I told him I can't. I also said I wish I could as I really gien to drink but can't for the time being. All these made me ponder : there is no one in this world who would love you wholeheartedly and unconditionally like your parents would. No one. Which I feel shameful for not being able to love them back as much as they rightfully deserve.

I wish them the best of health and well being. And I will make effort to love them more from now on. Make every moment count. ❤️
Expressions of love, from my dad 😍
